At Crawfordsburn Primary School, we have established ourselves on our strong family ethos, where we ensure that all children receive the individual care and attention they need to thrive and fulfil their potential. We have been part of the village of Crawfordsburn for over 100 years and are very excited about what the future holds for the school in a new build with state-of-the-art facilities.

At Crawfordsburn, we believe in the importance of establishing positive relationships with parents and caregivers, as these strong relationships are the bedrock for our pupils as they take their first steps into education. All within our school community are valued, respected and cared for. We have strong community links and are regularly involved in projects within the local community, from completing beach cleans to performing at events.

We are a school of high standards, both in terms of academic achievement and through how we prepare our children for the world they live in. Our values focus on developing caring, creative and confident pupils who are ready to have a positive impact both locally and on the wider world. 

Our staff are experienced, hard-working, caring and passionate about the success of the school and its pupils. Our pupils feel happy and safe and are given a wide range of opportunities to develop their skills. We offer tuition on a range of musical instruments and have a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, from sporting activities to computing clubs. We are also delighted to be a NIFSA Forest School and have extensive outdoor learning facilities.
